At 13:30, mountain rescuers from GRS Rateče station, a rescue doctor-helicopter pilot from GRS Tržič station, and the crew of the Slovenian Army helicopter flew to the Jalovec mountain area in the municipality of Kranjska Gora. A hiker was injured there. They located the hiker and descended to him. The doctor confirmed the hiker's death at the scene. The mountain rescuers transported the body using rope techniques to a place where it could be lifted into the helicopter. They transported it to the valley and handed it over to the funeral service. The Police are investigating the causes of the accident.
