On Wednesday, October 15, 2008, during the descent from Mrzla gora (2203m), a mountaineer from the Celje area suffered a fatal accident. The 41-year-old mountaineer strayed from the path and fell into a precipice approximately 150m deep, where he died due to severe injuries. With the help of mountain rescuers from Celje and a helicopter of the Slovenian army, the body was transported to the valley.
