Accident on Olševa and Škrlatica

Today at 10:49 a.m. a female hiker slipped under Olševa in the municipality of Solčava, fell into the depths, and was so severely injured that she died at the scene. Mountain rescuers from GRS Celje and the crew of the SV helicopter transported the deceased hiker to the valley.
Today at 3:26 p.m. a mountaineer was fatally injured in the north face of Škrlatica on the slope of Velika Dnina, municipality of Kranjska Gora. Mountain rescuers from GRS Kranjska Gora, with the assistance of the HNMP Brnik rescue team and the Slovenian Army helicopter, transported the body to the valley, where it was handed over to the funeral service.
