Accident on the Prag Path

Today at 12:28, on the Prag path to Triglav, settlement Mojstrana, municipality Kranjska Gora, three foreign hikers missed the path and strayed into the north face. Due to the difficult terrain, one hiker fell 200 meters into the depth of Triglav's north face. Mountain rescuers from Postaja GRS Mojstrana, a doctor rescuer pilot from Postaja GRS Rateče, and the crew of the Slovenian Army helicopter intervened. After a difficult wall rescue operation, further hindered by wind, they found the hiker who succumbed to injuries at the scene. They transported him to the valley, where the funeral service took over. Then, the rescuers with the help of the helicopter rescued the two fellow climbers from the wall and transported them unharmed to the valley, to Aljažev dom.
