Around half a meter of snow has fallen in the mountains

Yesterday, a deterioration with cooling and stronger precipitation hit Slovenia. Locally, more than half a meter of snow fell in the mountains. The most in the Julian Alps, but also in the high mountains of the western Karawanks and in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps more than 30 cm of snow fell.
On Kredarica there is currently 220, on Vogel 50 cm of snow.

Today it will be cloudy and foggy with occasional precipitation. The snow line will be at around 1000 m, with stronger precipitation even lower. A light south to southeast wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 1, at 2500 m -6 degrees C.
Tomorrow it will initially be mostly cloudy, especially in the Kamnik-Savinja Alps and on Pohorje there will be occasional rain in the morning. During the day it will partly clear from the northwest, but cumulus clouds will grow over the hills, showers and isolated thunderstorms will form. A light south and southeast wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 2, at 2500 m -5 degrees C.
