In the Julian Alps, due to a large amount of fresh snow, there is a very high danger of triggering snow avalanches (level 4). The most snow has fallen in the western Julian Alps and the Lower Bohinj Mountains, up to 50 cm.
Snowfall will continue all day, so the danger will further increase. Avalanche danger is also high elsewhere in the mountains.
