Slovenian Television Reinhard Karl Award: Reinhard Karl - The Art of Climbing a Mountain (Tom Dauer, Germany, 2021, 27')
Jury: Aleša Valič, Tatjana Markošek and Miha Lampreht.
The film Reinhard Karl: The Art of Climbing is a subtle experience of the transformations of a climber into a mountaineer photographer - or better, a photographer mountaineer who observes ascents, summits, efforts, risks and happiness with the eyes of a philosopher and the soul of a seeker of meaning; in a poetic way, it answers the fundamental questions that accompany climbing: Is it more than art?
