klicaj_h_200_pxGENERAL NOTICE
In areas affected by recent severe storms, numerous windfalls and individual fallen trees have occurred. Trees may have several large broken branches hanging or even entire trees hanging, which can fall to the ground at any time, even with the slightest wind. Trails may also be damaged due to debris flows and deposits of scree and other material. We advise a certain degree of caution when hiking on mountain trails.
REPORTING DAMAGED TRAILS
If you notice any damage or hazards on hiking trails, you can inform us at the email address poskodbe.poti@pzs.si. Specify which trail you observed damage or deficiencies on and describe them briefly. If possible, please attach a photo.
mapzs_gumb_500x156Reporting damaged trails is also possible via the maPZS application.
NOTICE TO HIKING TRAIL USERS: We recommend that hiking trail users check the actual condition of trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut, or with the local mountaineering club. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their inadequate maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying which trail the deficiency was observed on, describe the deficiency, and if possible, add a photo.
WARNING: Users use hiking trails at their own risk. Hiking trail users must act responsibly and considerately towards others when using trails so as not to endanger or injure themselves or others. The user must use the trail in such a way that no damage is caused to it, the land it passes through, other properties, or the flora and fauna along it. It is prohibited to restrict access to hiking trails, damage, remove, or destroy markers, signposts, logbooks, safety equipment, and other signs, or use unmarked shortcuts.
