Due to numerous reports, we are publishing the complete list of hiking trails closed due to the consequences of storms, windthrow, and floods.
klicaj_h_200_pxIn areas affected by recent severe storms, there have been numerous windthrows. There are many hanging trees and large broken branches that can fall to the ground even with the slightest wind. Trails are also damaged due to landslides, torrent activity, and deposits of scree and other material. Many areas were hit by catastrophic floods in early August. We advise caution when hiking on mountain trails. We publish closed trails and sections as we receive information from trail keepers. We recommend frequent checks if you are heading to areas affected by storms and floods.

Due to floods in the Zgornjesavinjska dolina valley, access to hiking trail starting points is difficult, many hiking trails are obstructed and closed. Due to a large amount of other work, trail keepers cannot report all closed trails, so for now we do not recommend visiting this area.

If you notice damage to hiking trails or their improper maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si, specifying which hiking trail you observed the deficiency on, describe the deficiency, and if possible, attach a photo. Reporting damaged trails is also possible via the maPZS app.
