Closure of the "normal" route to Jof di Montasio
We inform you that, due to the start of extraordinary maintenance works on the equipped sections - via ferrata and Scala Pipan - of the normal route to Jôf di Montasio in the municipality of Chiusaforte (UD), transit is prohibited to all hikers on the path section from Forca dei Disteis to the summit of Jôf di Montasio, both uphill and downhill.
The transit ban also extends to the equipped Leva path: the alpine routes Diretta Kugy and Findenegg gully remain accessible with descent from the same ascending path. The Bivacco Suringar also remains accessible.
The transit ban is in place from 10. 6. 2022 until the end of the extraordinary maintenance works, presumably 15. 7. 2022.
