CLOSED road and hiking trail through Kot valley

PD Javornik Koroška Bela reports that due to timber extraction the road through Kot valley is closed and thus also the hiking trail that runs along it.

Kot valley is the starting point for access to Dom Valentina Staniča pod Triglavom and surrounding peaks (Rjavina, Vrbanove špice, ...). The closure of the road and hiking trail is expected to last until 23 July 2021.


For Dom Valentina Staniča pod Triglavom we recommend ascent from:
Vrat valley, via a very demanding hiking trail over Prag (Tominšek's path is CLOSED)
Krma valley via an easy hiking trail past Dovških vratc.
