Kočevje Mountaineering Association informs that the Kalanova Path leading from Kočevje towards Koča pri Jelenovem studencu Hut is CLOSED on the section from the end of the asphalt in Kočevje to the gate at Koča pri Jelenovem studencu Hut due to windthrow and logging.

Access to Koča pri Jelenovem studencu Hut is possible via all other hiking trails and the forest road.

NOTICE TO HIKING TRAIL USERS: We recommend that users of hiking trails check the actual condition of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut or with the local mountaineering association. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their improper maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying which hiking trail you observed the deficiency on, describe the deficiency and, if possible, attach a photo.
