Closed sections crossing the railway line above Črni Kal

The hiking trail connecting the village of Črni Kal and Socerb Castle with the villages of Praproče and Podpeč via two sections is CLOSED on the sections crossing the railway line!

The sections of the hiking trail between Socerb Castle and the villages of Praproče and Podpeč are CLOSED at two points where the hiking trail crosses the railway line above the village of Črni Kal. The crossings over the railway line are not secured and arranged, therefore crossing the line at these two points is not permitted!

The nearest possible railway crossing is through the underpass of the forest road near the village of Černotiče (detour and crossing marked on the image below).

NOTICE TO HIKING TRAIL USERS: We recommend that hiking trail users check the actual condition of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut or with the local mountaineering association. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their inadequate maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying which hiking trail you observed the issue on, describe the issue, and if possible, attach a photo.

The user is obliged to use the hiking trail in such a way that no damage is caused to it, the land it passes through and adjacent land, other properties, and the fauna and flora along it. It is prohibited to restrict access to hiking trails, damage, remove or destroy markers, signposts, logbooks, safety equipment and other signs, or use unmarked shortcuts.
