Closed trail along the Rakes!

The nature trail along the Rakes is CLOSED due to a landslide until remediation!



Today at 3:19 a.m., a landslide occurred in Idrija, burying the path to Rake and the water channel along the footpath. Firefighters from PGD Idrija responded, and after inspecting the landslide, they determined that it does not threaten any nearby structures, but the footpath to Rake itself is closed and the water channel used by Soške elektrarne Nova Gorica to supply the power plant in Idrija is buried. The on-duty SENG worker shut off the water channel until the end of the landslide remediation, which will begin in the morning hours and will be carried out by workers from Komunala Idrija. The incident has also been reported to a member of OŠCZ Idrija as well as the police, who inspected the scene.
