Closed trail between Žabja vas and Šentjošt near Novo mesto

Mountaineering Club Krka Novo mesto informs about the closure of the hiking trail between Žabja vas near Novo mesto and the church of St. Jošt in the village of Šentjošt.

The hiking trail between Žabja vas near Novo mesto and the church of St. Jošt in the village of Šentjošt is impassable due to windthrow and consequently CLOSED.



The hiking trail connects Novo mesto and the Mountain Hut at Gospodična on Gorjanci. You can ascend to the hut via the parallel hiking trail through the villages Hrušica and Gabrje.

NOTICE TO USERS OF HIKING TRAILS: We recommend that users of hiking trails check the actual condition of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut or with the local mountaineering club. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their improper maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying which hiking trail you noticed the deficiency on, describe the deficiency and if possible attach a photo.
