Closed trail from Grobelnik to Grohot pasture

PD Solčava reports that the trail to Koča v Grohotu pod Raduho is closed on the section Grobelnik – Tolstovršnik - Planine Javorje – Dolgi plaz – Lipni plaz – Koča v Grohotu pod Raduho, due to active scree and rock wall collapse above the mountain trail.

Based on the inspection by the trail maintainers of PD Solčava and the leader of Savinjsko OPP, due to the rock wall collapse above the mountain trail which has buried the trail, the section of the Slovenian Mountain Trail from Grobelnik - Tolstovršnik - Planine Javorje - Dolgi plaz - Lipni plaz - Koča v Grohotu pod Raduho is closed until further notice. Other trails to the hut are normally passable.



Hikers and other walkers are advised to use the trail that starts SW of Solčava: Globočar - Močnik - Osojnik - Bukovnik - Koča v Grohotu pod Raduho. We ask all hikers and other walkers to comply with the prohibition, as the crumbling of the wall above the mountain trail continues.
