Closed trail from Kredarica and Planika to Triglav

PD Ljubljana-Matica and the PZS path maintenance team announce: if the weather permits, there will be a working action by path maintainers on the mountain trail from Kredarica to Triglav on Thursday, July 28, 2016, therefore the mountain trail will be CLOSED.

On the very demanding mountain trail from Kredarica to Triglav, the cable is severed at three points. Maintenance work is essential, so a technical working action by maintainers will be carried out on Thursday, July 28, 2016. If the scope of work is larger than anticipated, the work will continue on Friday, July 29.



During the works, the trail to Triglav from the eastern side will be obstructed. Alternately, the trail from Kredarica to Mali Triglav and then the mountain trail from Mali Triglav to the summit of Triglav will be CLOSED. Warning signs dedicated to this will also indicate it.



We ask hikers to strictly observe the closure of the mountain trail and not to venture onto this mountain trail, as they could endanger both their own safety and the safety of the maintainers on the action. Access to the summit of Triglav will be possible from Koča na Doliču and Dom Planika pod Triglavom via Triglavska Škrbina.
