Closed trail Jenkova planina-Goli vrh

Due to forest rehabilitation works and cable yarding of timber, the hiking trail between Jenkova planina and Goli vrh will be closed approximately until Friday, July 19, 2024.

The Municipality of Jezersko informs that due to forest rehabilitation works and cable yarding of timber, the hiking trail between Jenkova planina and Goli vrh will be CLOSED approximately until Friday, July 19, 2024. Only the trail leading to the summit from the Slovenian side will be closed.

Ascent to Goli vrh is possible from the Austrian side - from Jenkova planina onwards along the forest road and then along the hiking trail.

We also warn about other CLOSED HIKING TRAILS in Jezersko:
trail through Žrelo and connection between Kranjska koča na Ledinah and Češka koča,
trail from Ledine to Velika Baba (the so-called Rudijeva vertikala),
trail from Dolška škrbina to Grintovec,
damaged trail from Mlinarsko sedlo to Grintovec.


NOTICE TO USERS OF HIKING TRAILS: We recommend that users of hiking trails check the actual status of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut or with the local mountaineering association. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their inadequate maintenance (faded markings, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying on which hiking trail you noticed the deficiency, describe the deficiency, and if possible, attach a photo.

WARNING: Users use hiking trails at their own risk. Users of hiking trails must act self-responsibly and responsibly towards others so as not to endanger or injure themselves or others. The user is obliged to use the hiking trail in such a way that no damage is done to it, to the land through which it passes, to other properties, and to the fauna and flora along it. It is prohibited to restrict access to hiking trails, to damage, remove or destroy markings, directional signs, sign boxes, safety equipment and other markings, or to use unmarked shortcuts.
