Closed trail Oplotnica-Brinjeva gora (past the sand pit)

Alpine Association Oplotnica informs about the closure of the hiking trail leading to Brinjeva gora past the sand pit.
The hiking trail between Oplotnica and Brinjeva gora or the church of St. Neža is CLOSED on the section past the sand pit.

The trail is closed due to the expansion and fencing of the sand pit area. Alpine Association Oplotnica is seeking possibilities for creating an alternative trail in this area, about which the public will also be informed, and the trail will be entered into the hiking trail cadastres and the maPZS application.

Ascent to Brinjeva gora is possible via the hiking trail that leads to the summit along the northwest ridge.

NOTICE TO HIKERS: We recommend that users of hiking trails check the actual status of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut or local alpine association. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their improper maintenance (faded markers, overgrowth, etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying which hiking trail you observed the deficiency on, describe the deficiency, and if possible, attach a photo.
