Closed trail to Jerebikovec and roads to Kot and Krmo

20.07.2023
Mountaineering Association Dovje-Mojstrana informs that the hiking trail leading from the main road Mojstrana - Radovna to Jerebikovec is CLOSED!

The hiking trail to Jerebikovec is CLOSED due to windthrow and the resulting large amount of fallen trees. In the trail area, besides fallen trees, there is also a huge amount of hanging trees and larger branches, making any movement in this area life-threatening!

In the wider Mojstrana area, several forest roads are also closed due to windthrow, including the roads leading to Kot and Krmo. Access to Triglav, Rjavina and other surrounding mountains is therefore considerably longer. Due to fallen trees, we recommend not setting out on these trails until conditions normalize.

klicaj_h_200_pxGENERAL NOTICE
In areas affected by recent severe storms, there have been numerous windthrows and individual fallen trees. Trees may have several larger broken branches hanging or even entire hanging trees that can fall to the ground at any time, even with the slightest wind. Trails may also be damaged due to torrent activity and deposits of scree and other material. We advise a degree of caution when walking on hiking trails.
