Death of a Mountaineer at the Ljubelj Hut

Yesterday at 10:03, a hiker at the Hut at the Old Ljubelj, municipality of Tržič, felt unwell. People present at the scene provided him with basic life support procedures. Rescuers from GRS Tržič, the joint HNMP-GRSZ Brnik team, and the SV helicopter responded. Further resuscitation was unsuccessful, and the person passed away. The helicopter transported him to the valley, where he was taken over by NMP Tržič rescuers.
