Death of a mountaineer in the Čavna area

Today at 9.21 a.m. on the road to the Anton Bavčer Hut below Čavna, municipality of Ajdovščina, a hiker lost consciousness. First aid was provided by rescuers from NMP Ajdovščina, mountain rescuers from GRS Tolmin Ajdovščina group, and firefighters from PGD Col, but the hiker passed away.
