In the summer season, a free bus transport to Vrata valley and back towards Mojstrana and Dovje will again be organized this year. This year a novelty will be introduced - the possibility of advance seat reservation, with a surcharge and for two entry points. This year, a free e-transport to the Peričnik waterfall will also be organized additionally, and from 15 June to 15 September a free tourist bus connecting the places of Zgornjesavska valley will again be available in the municipality of Kranjska Gora.
FREE TRANSPORT TO VRATA VALLEY
In the summer season, a free bus transport to Vrata valley and back towards Mojstrana and Dovje will again be organized this year, thereby promoting sustainable mobility and easier access to starting points in the alpine world.
The frequency of transports will vary:
From 15 to 30 June: buses will run every day, 8 departures in each direction daily.
From 1 July to 15 September: buses will run every day, 14 rides towards Vrata and 13 rides from Vrata valley daily.
After 16 September to 1 October: the bus will run on weekends (Friday–Sunday) according to the schedule valid in June.
The first morning departure will be from the area of the old railway station at Prodi. At 4.00 a minibus transport will be organized, and at 5.00 the regular bus line.
The line route includes stops:
at Prodi–bus stop Dovje-Mojstrana–bus stop Kamne–Mojstrana ski resort–bus stop Mercator Mojstrana–Peričnik–Čerlovec parking lot (Kukova špica)–Za dolino za Cmirom (bivak III.)–Aljažev dom in Vratih.
Novelty 2026: This year a novelty will be introduced - the possibility of advance seat reservation for two entry points: at the parking lot at Prodi and at Aljažev dom in Vratih. Half of the available seats can be reserved. The reservation price is 3 EUR and is intended to guarantee seats. The reservation system will run online and will be published in due time.
FREE TRANSPORT TO PERIČNIK WATERFALL
This year, a free e-transport to the Peričnik waterfall will also be organized additionally, which is an environmentally friendlier form of transport with fewer emissions and less impact on the environment. From the Slovenian Alpine Museum in Mojstrana the e-minibus will run in a loop, without a fixed timetable.
In June (15.–30. 6.) and in September the transport will be available on Saturdays and Sundays between 9 and 16 hours. In July and August it will run every day, also between 9 and 16 hours.
FREE TOURIST BUS THROUGH ZGORNJESAVSKA VALLEY
From 15 June to 15 September a free tourist bus connecting the places of the valley will again be established in the municipality of Kranjska Gora. The bus is intended for both locals and visitors and enables easier exploration of the valley without using a personal car and with sustainable mobility in mind.
The line runs on the route: Kranjska Gora–Gozd Martuljek–Dovje–Mojstrana–Rateče–Planica–Kranjska Gora.
