Freeride skier's slip on Krn

Today around 8:30 a.m., an Italian freeride skier slipped while skiing down from Gomiščkovo zavetišče, where he had spent the night in the winter room with two friends (a boy and a girl; the latter descended on foot and roped up).
The accident happened after about 100 m of descent, where, as mentioned, he slipped and then slid down the slope for almost 1000 vertical meters. Despite the quick intervention of the GRS Tolmin rescuers, the Italian freeride skier died at the scene.
