In the western Julian Alps, up to 150cm of snow fell locally from Monday afternoon to this morning, much less elsewhere. In the mentioned area, the avalanche danger is degree 4, and elsewhere it will increase with further precipitation.
We advise against visiting the high mountains for the time being.
