This weekend the best Slovenian sport climbers will compete against each other at the already 9th Kranj Climbing Days. The three-day competition, the final of the national championship in sport climbing, will offer tense scenes that should not be missed. From Friday, 28. 11. 2014, to Sunday, 30. 11. 2014, we will be able to follow our climbers in lead and bouldering climbing as they try to climb as high as possible.
The youngest will tie into the rope already on Friday afternoon, while the others will take turns on the climbing wall from Saturday morning until Sunday evening. It will be particularly tense on Saturday at 18:00, when the final
of lead climbing for seniors. The highlight of the event will certainly be the Sunday bouldering final, where the athletes will have to tense their brains particularly in addition to their muscles. Extremely difficult boulder problems await them, which they will try to climb in the shortest possible time. The rhythm will be set by music created by DJs and a drummer at the top of the boulder.
A rich accompanying program will also take place, which is worth seeing even if climbing has not yet convinced you. You will be able to watch the documentary film Aljažev stolp - Ta pleh ima dušo (on Sunday at 16:00), linger at the exhibition of exotic animals and check the novelties at the stalls. Children will have fun in the children's corner, and on Sunday evening at 17:45 the juggling group Čupakabra will create a magical fiery atmosphere. This will open the bouldering final starting at 18:00.
There is no entrance fee at the event.
