GRS instructor Jurij Jeršin has warned us about a major rockfall in the western wall of Jalovec. We advise against any ascent.

Above the alpine route Čop-Jesih-Potočnik, a huge rockfall has occurred, rolling all the way to the foot of Struga and Zadnja Ponca, where the popular winter and ski touring route to Kotovo sedlo and Jalovec runs.

Since the rockfall is fresh, we advise against any ascent in this area, as we can expect more due to significant temperature changes and snow melting.
