Missing mountaineer found dead

PU Kranj reported that the missing Austrian citizen was found dead this afternoon on a rocky ledge below the path from Rdeča škrbina towards Planika pod Triglavom.



"The mountain police officer, who found the missing person with the mountain helicopter rescue team, conducted an inspection at the scene and determined that the Austrian slipped and fell while walking, sustaining such severe injuries that he died at the scene," they reported.
