The highest peak of the Alps, Mont Blanc, located on the border between Italy and France, has grown by 2 m due to snow accumulation. The snow height at the summit increased due to greater amounts of precipitation, especially in summer.
Mont Blanc is an increasingly frequent goal for experienced mountaineers. Will the new height attract even more mountaineers?
