More than 30 cm of snow has fallen in the mountains

Overnight, it snowed in the high mountains, and in the Upper Sava Valley area, the snow line temporarily dropped below 1500 m.

In the high mountains of the Julian Alps, more than 30 cm of snow fell in some places by morning, and at the official meteorological station on Kredarica, there were 28 cm at 8 a.m.



Forecast for the mountain world (ARSO) Thursday, 24.9.2015 at 6 a.m.

Today it will be mostly cloudy and foggy. There will be occasional precipitation. In the afternoon, it will partially clear in the west. A light to moderate easterly to northeasterly wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m will be from 5 to 9, at 2500 m around 3 degrees C.





Tomorrow, in areas east of us, it will be cloudy and foggy, with light precipitation again in the evening. Elsewhere, it will mostly be sunny, but clouding over from the east towards evening. A light to moderate northerly to northeasterly wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m from 7 to 10, at 2500 m around 4 degrees C.
