Mountaineer's accident below Kladivo

On the slopes of Košuta, more precisely between Kofce hill and Kladivo, yesterday shortly after 20:00 under police leadership they started a search operation for the person missing since Friday, but interrupted it due to darkness. Policemen continued the operation this morning and found, unfortunately, a deceased 75-year-old man. According to initial findings, the deceased slipped while crossing a snowfield and fell approximately 200 m deep. Due to severe injuries, he died at the scene of the accident.
