Path to Okrešelj past Rinka Waterfall temporarily closed

The hiking trail between Rinka Waterfall and Okrešelj is closed due to maintenance works until Sunday, 28 September 2025 inclusive.

Due to urgent maintenance works on the hiking trail leading to Okrešelj from Logarska dolina, past Rinka Waterfall, it is CLOSED until Sunday, 28 September 2025 inclusive.


As the adjacent, so-called Pastirska pot is also closed, access to Okrešelj is possible only from the neighbouring valleys:
from Jezerskega, via Ledin, Jezerskega and Ledinsko sedlo,
from Matkovega kota via Mrzla gora and
from Kamniške Bistrice via Kamniško sedlo or Turskega žleba.

NOTICE TO HIKING TRAIL USERS: We recommend that hiking trail users check the actual condition of hiking trails in advance on the website stanje-poti.pzs.si, at the nearest mountain hut or with the local mountaineering association. If you notice damage to hiking trails or their improper maintenance (faded markings, overgrowth etc.), please send a message to poskodbe.poti@pzs.si specifying on which hiking trail you observed the deficiency, describe the deficiency and, if possible, attach a photo.

Hiking trail users must behave self-responsibly and responsibly towards others when using hiking trails so as not to endanger or injure themselves or others. The user is obliged to use the hiking trail in such a way that no damage is caused to it or to the land through which it passes and to other real estate and to the fauna and flora along it. It is forbidden to restrict access to hiking trails and to damage, remove or destroy markings, directional signs, sign boxes and safety equipment and other markings or to use unmarked shortcuts.
