In this year's April issue of our and your favourite magazine Planinski vestnik, the theme of the month is Fear in the Mountains. Fear is our lifelong companion, intangible like our shadow in our consciousness and deep in the subconscious. How many faces of fear have we encountered in the mountains? In a mini-survey on what scares us the most in the mountains, we received 147 responses, and among all of them, the fear of sudden weather change received the most responses. Which fears follow, why fear arises at all, and how to find a balance between the absence and presence of fear, you can find in this issue of Planinski vestnik.

This time the interview is with the simply best sport climber in the world - Janja Garnbret, also a two-time Olympic champion in sport climbing.

We write about the "Kozlovska sodba" in Mojstrana - a performance for the 130th anniversary of the Vestnik and about Franc Kocbek - Aljaž from the Savinja Alps. With the Jeran family, we roam the magical land of hospitable people - in the Karakorum and Hindukush, while climbing at the national championship in competitive ice climbing in Domžale.
