In the February issue of Planinski vestnik, the theme of the month is Wanderings Around the World. With various authors, we wander along Himalayan singletracks, through Azerbaijan, in the verticals of Armenia, and on a volcanic mountain on Bali. Interesting experiences and wonderful photographs that the authors have accompanied with many practical tips.
We talk with photographer and filmmaker Aljaž Žnidaršič, an adventurer on a mission to experience life. He says: "Do what you love and you will succeed." His wonderful photograph of Velika Zelnarica also adorns the cover.
The bulletin also brings two columns, an interesting story and a photo story, a report on ski mountaineering, we report on the alpine-climbing evening of the most successful climbers, alpinists, ski tourers, and ice climbers, as well as on this year's national competition Mladina in gore. We celebrate with the Belokranjci 100 years of organized mountaineering and wander through the Dolenjska hills.
In the section Z nami na pot, we write about the magical treasures of Slovenia and talk with photographer, world traveler, alpinist, and writer Franči Horvat, who invites you to Slemenova špica (1911 m), Vošca (1737 m), Janezov bivak at Javorca (1445 m), and Kozice (750 m).
The following are the regular sections: Planinčkov kotiček, knowledge (about avalanches), comic strip (about Roblek Hut), readers' letters, literature, mountaineering organization, news, and in memoriam.
