The May theme of the month is Alpine herding and its secrets. We looked into the rich history of Alpine herding and spoke with Anka Lipušček Miklavič, who dedicated her professional career to mountain pasture farming - initially as an agricultural advisor and later as director of the successful cooperative dairy Planika Kobarid; even today in summer you can meet her on the mountain pasture Sleme, surrounded by cows, or turning loaves of Tolminc cheese.

The second interview is with Drago Frelih, an alpinist who, among other things, as the third Slovenian in a week and a half climbed three Alpine problems: Matterhorn, Eiger and Grandes Jorasses, and was one of the first to also fly with a paraglider and in 2012 was a co-founder of the Climbing Club Cempin in the Poljanska Valley.
