The Alpine Association of Slovenia together with the editorial board of Planinski vestnik, in collaboration with CEWE, d.d., announces a prize photo contest titled #ILoveMountains, which runs until October 15, 2017 inclusive. Participate in the contest for the best summer mountaineering photo and compete for rich prizes: a GoPro camera and Cewe product vouchers. Every participant receives a voucher worth 10 euros for purchasing a Cewe photo book.
Many mountaineers are already hurrying along mountain trails, climbing routes are seeing increasing visits, and in the mountains we also meet crowds of other visitors to the "useless world" who have gone there in quite a different way. Everyone experiences their own story in this ... Some write them down, others save them as video clips, and others freeze the most beautiful moments with a photograph.
Precisely for the latter, the editorial board of Planinski vestnik, together with the Alpine Association of Slovenia and CEWE, d.d., is organizing a photo contest titled #ILoveMountains.
Photos with themes from the mountain world, its natural and cultural beauties, and human activities within it are eligible for the contest. Everyone for whom photography is not their only or professional activity can participate, except members of the Planinski vestnik editorial board and its external collaborators.
Each contest participant can submit up to three photos in the highest resolution (recommended image resolution is 300 dpi). Send them to fotonatecaj2017@pzs.si by October 15, 2017, and in the message provide your details (name, surname, email address) and a short description of the photo.
The judging commission will select three best photos (only one from each author) and award them:
1st prize: GoPro HERO4 Black Edition camera,
2nd prize: CEWE PHOTO BOOK voucher worth 150 euros,
3rd prize: CEWE WALL DECOR voucher worth 100 euros.
Every participant will receive a voucher worth 10 euros for purchasing a CEWE photo book.
All prize-winning photos will be published in large format in Planinski vestnik and exhibited in the Slovenian Mountaineering Museum.
You are invited to invite your friends to participate on social networks and equip your favorite mountaineering photos with #ILoveMountains for this purpose, but of course do not forget to send the best selections to the contest email address on time.
