Rescued English caver

31.07.2016
Yesterday at 3:27 an English caver was injured in the Primadona cave in the Tolminske Ravne area in the Tolmin municipality at a depth of about 200 meters.

"40 rescuers rushed into the heart of Tolminski Migovec. During exploration, an Englishman from the English Caving Club, who every year together with Tolmin cavers explores the longest cave system in Slovenia, was injured. The injured is at depth -200 m with a severe blow to the back. He is mobile but unable to climb independently. This time a special team for widening narrow passages was also activated, which must widen approximately 6 m of the so-called meander (narrow passage). To top it off, GRS rescuers (Tolmin) also came to our aid, who will equip the slope from the cave to the place where the helicopter will take over the litter."
