Rescued Hiker Trapped in Wall

On Friday, August 1, 2008, hikers ascending from Vrata towards Kredarica heard calls for help. The hikers triggered a rescue operation by calling 112, in which rescuers with helicopter assistance rescued a 24-year-old Canadian from the North Face of Triglav. The poorly equipped hiker will have to pay the costs of the rescue operation himself.
