Snow blankets the mountains

Mountains above around 1600 meters were blanketed by snow overnight. In the high mountains, up to about 15 cm of new snow fell.

Today it will initially be cloudy and foggy with precipitation, the snow line will drop to sea level altitude around 1500 m. Precipitation will gradually subside from the west in the morning. In the afternoon, it will clear up. Initially, a moderate northwesterly wind will blow, in the afternoon a light southwesterly. Temperature at 1500 m around 3, at 2500 m around -3 °C.

Tomorrow cloudy and foggy with occasional precipitation, more frequent in the afternoon. In the evening, precipitation will intensify. The snow line will initially be at sea level altitude around 1600 m, during the day it will rise above 2000 m. A moderate wind from southern directions will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 5, at 2500 m around -1 °C.
