Danger patterns
dp.10: spring conditions
During the clear night, the snowpack surface will freeze superficially. In the morning it will soon crust over and remain soft until night.
Ridges are already quite bare even in the high mountains.
In the old snowpack the snow layers are mostly well bonded to each other. More or less deep below the surface there are several weak layers of graupel and faceted grains, which are more frequent on sun-exposed slopes above 1800 m.
Weather
Clear during the night to Friday and Friday morning. Then patchy low cloudiness will form covering the summits. At midday the temperature will be around 9 °C at 1500 m, around 1 °C at 2500 m.
Outlook
Saturday more sun and dry. Still warm. Sunday around midday clouding over.
Avalanche danger will remain the same.
