RISK ASSESSMENT

Avalanche danger is 1st degree.

The snowpack is stable.

The risk is low. No spontaneous avalanching.

SNOW CONDITIONS and CURRENT STATE OF THE SNOWPACK

There is very little snow in the mountains. The snowpack is mostly covered with crust from daytime melting and nighttime freezing, or it is hard. Temperature inversion prevails with temperatures above zero. At night it cools below freezing mainly on plateaus and in frost hollows.

Compacted snowpack is only occasionally in high mountain cirques and occasionally on plateaus.

FORECAST WEATHER DEVELOPMENT

At the end of the week, mostly clear weather with temperature inversion will prevail. Only at night in frost hollows temperature may drop below zero, otherwise above 0°C.

TENDENCY OF SNOW CONDITIONS

Snow is mostly well transformed. Especially in the morning there is a slightly higher chance of slipping due to partially icy surface.
