The old snowpack is stable and well bonded together. During the day on sun-exposed slopes, a small avalanche or wet snow slide may occur.

The old snowpack is well transformed, bonded and stable. There is relatively little snow for this time of year, and sun-exposed slopes are already quite bare even in the high mountains.
Due to the warming, snow will refreeze at night only in the highest parts of the high mountains; during the day it will crust and melt.

Weather
Mostly clear weather, light winds. At midday, temperature around 9 °C at 1500 m, around 2 °C at 2500 m.

Outlook
Avalanche danger in the high mountains will remain similar, with spring conditions. Warm and sunny weather will continue on Sunday and Monday. Due to the warming, snow in the high mountains will not refreeze at night.
