Risk assessment

Avalanche danger is level 1, LOW. The snowpack is stable, hard and icy in places. There is a high risk of slips.



Snow conditions

There is little snow in the mountains, mostly only above 2300 m. The snow is frozen, icy in places.



Forecast weather development

Dry weather will continue. It will be cold, temperatures always below zero. Today there will be a moderate to strong north wind, which tomorrow will weaken below around 1800 m, but strengthen higher up. On Sunday, the wind in the high mountains will be slightly weaker.



Trend of snow conditions

The snow will remain frozen and hard. The snowpack will remain stable and icy in places, avalanche danger LOW. There will still be a risk of slips due to the hard and icy snowpack in places, and on wind-packed ridges.
