Snow has blanketed the mountains

Today a cold front passed over Slovenia, accompanied by occasional somewhat heavier precipitation. Up to 30 cm of new snow fell in the mountains, which the wind, especially in the high mountains, blew into drifts.
Since predominantly cloudy weather with occasional precipitation will continue in the coming days (presumably at least until the end of the week), the danger of avalanche release will gradually increase, especially in the high mountains.
