Snow has whitened the mountains

With the passage of a cold front, it has cooled in the mountains, and in some places the snow line has dropped below 1000 m.
In some mid-mountain and high-mountain areas, more than 30 cm of snow has fallen.

Today it will be cloudy and foggy in places. Precipitation will cease during the day from the west. The snow line will mostly be between 1300 and 1500 m. A strengthened wind from northern directions will blow, and during the day in the high mountains it may be quite strong. Temperature at 1500 m will be around 1, at 2500 m around -3 °C.
Tomorrow it will be mostly cloudy and foggy in places. Occasional light precipitation mainly in the hills along the border with Austria, in the afternoon possibly elsewhere. The snow line will be at altitudes between 1400 and 1800 m. A strong northerly wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 2, at 2500 m around 0 °C.
