Still 130 cm of snow at Kredarica

At Kredarica there was still 130 cm of snow at the ARSO meteorological station at 8 a.m. today. Some snow, especially in the gullies, is still present in the mid-mountains. Full winter gear is still required for safe visits to the high mountains.

Today it will initially be partly clear in places, but increasingly cloudy and foggy during the day. Local precipitation will start in the western Julians in the morning, gradually covering the entire mountain world during the day. Thunderstorms will occur in between. Moderate southwest wind will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 11, at 2500 m around 5 degrees C.
Tomorrow cloudy and foggy, occasional precipitation, especially in Posočje and the Snežnik area also thunderstorms. Wind mostly light, turning to eastern directions. Temperature at 1500 m around 9, at 2500 m around 3 degrees C.
On Monday and Tuesday changeable weather with occasional precipitation, partly showers and isolated thunderstorms.
