Mangart is a mountain that sees very high traffic in summer. Access to the summit is greatly shortened by a road leading above 2000m. The summit, one of the highest in Slovenia, has a cross on top and a summit logbook beneath it. The summit is spacious and offers fine views in all directions. The neighboring Jalovec, just a few meters lower, is particularly well visible. The Italian Julian Alps are also clearly visible.
