There is already 505 cm of snow at Kredarica

After heavy snowfall, the height of the snow cover today at 7 a.m. measured 505 cm.
Particularly in the Julian Alps and the western and central Karawanks, due to the large amount of new snow, and lower down due to rain, the avalanche danger is high.
Today it will be cloudy and foggy with precipitation, more frequent and heavier in the area of the Julian Alps and Snežnik. The snow line will be around 1000 m above sea level in the morning, lowering further during the day. A moderate to strong southwesterly wind will blow, weakening during the day. It will cool down, temperature at 1500 m around -2°C in the afternoon, at 2500 m around -7°C.
Tomorrow it will be cloudy and foggy, in the afternoon smaller precipitation will spread from the south. At higher elevations a weak southwesterly wind will blow, lower down a northeasterly wind. It will cool down, temperature at 1500 m around -3°C in the afternoon, at 2500 m around -10°C.
