There is still 3 meters of snow in the high mountains

Today at 8 a.m. there was still 300 cm of snow at Kredarica, of which about 20 cm is new. At Vogel, however, there is no longer any snow cover at the ARSO meteorological station.

Today it will be cloudy or foggy for most of the day, with clouds breaking towards evening. There will occasionally be precipitation, with the snow line around 2000 m above sea level. A weak to moderate wind from northern directions will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 6, at 2500 m around -1 °C.
Tomorrow morning and forenoon mostly clear. In the middle of the day, cumulus clouds will develop and especially in the eastern Karawanks and on Pohorje a shower or thunderstorm may form. A weak wind from western directions will blow. Temperature at 1500 m around 10, at 2500 m around 4 °C.
On Saturday and Sunday it will be sunny and warm, with local showers and thunderstorms mainly in northern Slovenia in the afternoon.
