In recent times, there have been quite a few questions about the trafficability of the road over Vršič Pass.
According to the Traffic Information Center for state roads, the road over Vršič Pass is open for vehicles up to 3.5 tons with the use of winter equipment.
The road Mojstrana - Vrata is still officially closed.
The road Strmec - Mangartsko sedlo is also closed.
